3 Unknown Steps Towards Massive Income

I was doing some reading this morning and it hit me like a 2x4 over the head why people don't take action towards their dreams.

But first let me take you back a minute to why I came to my "revelation."

"Why are more people not successful at getting what they want from life," I find myself always asking?

I'm not just talking about financial either. I mean anything. For example: Speaking in front of people, writing a novel or auto-biography, going sky diving and anything else you can think of that may take some knowledge and skill.

Well as Tony Robbins says, it all comes down to love and fear. People either take action towards something they love because they seek pleasure or move away from something because of fear or pain. (Ok he made it more technical but I'm not that bright so I kept it simple lol.)

Well here's something I thought of that makes sense, see if it does to you too.

People are afraid of being vulnerable.

You know, making themselves vulnerable to their piers, family, the public etc.

Why are they afraid of being vulnerable?

The pressure of fitting in, standing out and not being excepted is a good start.

Embarrassment is a key factor.

The feeling can be over whelming to most and paralyze them into zero action. God forbid they put themselves out there and look like a fool.

People hate the idea of being embarrassed. (That's code a code name for failure.)

The pressure even as adults to fit in can over ride a persons logical desire to express themselves. There are lots of books to support this concept of society's influence on the human ego and I for one know we all buy into it at some point or another.

However, let's move forward to the "Secret" 3 simple steps to your success I mentioned.

Here's what hit me over the head. (I think I still have a lump from it)

"Few people are willing to seek out and gain the "knowledge" it takes to be successful, fewer people have the "will" to do what it takes to be successful and even fewer people work on the "means" that it takes to be successful." - Mark Joyner

Lets break that down shall we. Mind you this is all only my opinion.

1. Knowledge- Lots of people say that knowledge is power. To me that's like saying guns kill people. I don't agree. People kill people. Guns are just the tool to do so. You still don't have the will to use it nor the ability or means to use it.

Knowledge that is not put to use is just...well...it's just knowledge. No different than a gun sitting in a drawer.

When you take knowledge you have learnt and apply it to activity, you create wisdom. You now know what works and what doesn't work after a succession of attempts. Thomas Edison knows something about this after giving the light bulb 999 wacks.

The key is though that if you don't attempt to seek out the knowledge you'll never have it to apply in the first place. This leads us to our next step.

Yes, you must be willing to make an effort.

2. Will- Making the effort to gain knowledge is one thing. You now must have the will to implement it. Otherwise known as a burning desire. To use the gun analogy: you must have the will to want to shoot someone 1st and that would only happen if you had a reason.

Your will to want to be successful comes from knowing your "why" or your reason. Are you moving towards wealth or away from poverty? Your will can never be broken if you know what you stand for and why you believe in it so much. Pardon a pun again but you'll have no issues pulling the trigger on your activity when you get this point.

Action Action Action.

The universe likes speed!

This quote takes leads us into the final 3rd step. Vince Lombardi said it best. "It's not the will to win, It's the will to prepare to win." Pardon me If i'm not exact on his quote but you get the point.

3. The Means- This comes down to your Skills. A gun doesn't kill people if you're not adapt in knowing how to point and aim it properly. This can take practice, repetition and skill.

Although I know what some of you are thinking. Yes accidents do happen. However people rarely accidentally have success in business that is sustainable over time.

You must work on your skills consistently in order to become proficient at your craft. Whether that be communication with people because you're in a home based business or you're playing golf. Either way.

Becoming aware of this 3 step process can greatly improve your chances of pushing past your vulnerability issues.

You have nothing to be embarrassed of unless now you find yourself in the know and you still don't move towards what you want in life.

That would be embarrassing.

However no one will really know but you right?

Don't live a life of quiet desperation.

You are meant for more.
